Kolangal is an Indian Tamil-language soap opera on Sun TV. It is a Prime time serial. The show premiered on 29 May 2003. It aired Monday through Friday at 9:00PM. The show stars by Devayani, Nalini, Chandra Lakshman, Deepa Venkat, Poornima Indrajith, Abhishek, V. Thiruselvam, Ajay, Yugendran and Kuyili.

This serial as I remember is being telecast in Sun TV during prime time for more than 4 years. It is one of the worst serials I have ever come across. The director of the serial who himself is one of the actors shows sadist and psychopathic behavior. The state machineries such as Police, legislatures and even law is being depicted in a bad picture and the main character Abhi is being depicted as an good lady who keeps facing difficulties after difficulties. Adhi, the villian commits crime after crime and keeps getting away with it. There is another sadist character who keeps marrying girls after girls and leads a lavish life. What is the message the director is trying to pass on to the mass?

Commit crimes and you can keep on getting away with it? Don't heed to the law? Educate gun culture? The director through this serial promotes only negative things. Please ban this serial.

I have also written to SUN TV, but don't have any response till now. For now I have stopped watching this serial. This kind of serials in a way is only spoiling the masses especially the children. 0 Votes seriously i too hate this serial.

Kind of worst i have come acros. And the more worse s ppl keep on watching this with out just leaving it. If the time s 9, they start watching along wit grandma, grandpa, papa and mom. I have started hating serials absolutely because of this one itself. Its true that the director always shows himself as good and loving. But truly i hope he is irritating. As vivek (comedian)makes fun of mega serials.

I would strongly recommend this serial to take part in oscar flim award. For 100% sure this serial will get the best picture of the centurary. Best director Thol, best actress Abhi, best actor all the male actor ( never happen to any film in the word ) its a world guiness record. Everybody in the word must watch this serial drama so that sun tv can earn tons of money and can be one of the richest tv in the world. With this tons of money sun tv can produced more serial drama 24hrs a day that means no news, advertisment, variety shows and etc. Heard from indian film industry top actor and actress are very eager to act in drama serial especially if this is snu tv.

Well done sun tv for telecasting top class dramas which no tv in the world had ever done before. In my home when i turn on the tv i straight to sun tv. My tv will be turn on at least 23.5 hrs a day and because of the too long running time my tv often overheat and break down and ends up getting a new tv very often. Compared to the effort sun tv is putting in my worries noyhing. My tv is only running one channel and that is sun tv. Sun tv you are the best and kolangal you the best drama.

Thol is a very intelligent guy with a lot of gifted talent. Take my word one day he will be presented with the noble prize for producing top quality picture and India should be very proud of him.

Last but not the least his name should be appear in the guiness world record together with sun tv. Tholkapiyan, when u will stop this serial, r u waiting for devayani's daughters to come and act in this one?
