Adi Ad2000b 8-Channel High Definition Audio Codec Drivers

In case you missed it the X-Fi that comes with that motherboard isn't a X-Fi, all it is is an ADI based sound card that uses the Xtreme Audio software, SupremeFX X-Fi Audio Card - ADI® AD2000B 8-channel High Definition Audio CODEC.

I've always had a problem with some older games trying to get EAX to work, it seems very finicky that some do and some don't. I was under the impression that the Soundmax HD Audio on this board supported up to EAX 4.0 audio?

I recently got Colin Mcrae 2005 to play and Eax 4 support is off and not able to be turned on. Belajar bahasa jerman pdf. I've had this problem in a few other games too, as though they don't see my audio as supporting EAX. I have the (only) drivers instealled that I can find for it, it's from 2008 and are the only audio drivers listed on Asus's site, I guess they'll never update them at all.

Soundmax's site is no help[, they just point you toward the motherboard's site, etc and have no 'universal' driver for anything. So I'm just wondering if anyone has this board and a similar problem? I have my speakers and everything set up correctly (logitech z5500), in both windows settings and Soundmax it's at 5.1. It just seems that EAX support isn't there or something.
