I would recommend the blued version over the parkerized. My friend and I bought one of each, and I bought the blued. Because of the much smoother finsish of the blued model, my PF9 had a smoother actions. I also did the 'fluff & buff' from the website,lightly polishing the ramp and bottom of slide. Bottom lline, I have a flawless PF9, with hardball, Speer Gold 124 JHP +P (quite a handful) and my carry load, the Federal HST 124. My trigger pull is amazing, and although it looks like a toy gun, it shoots accurately and reliably.
